WUJS Israel believes in providing young Jews with a holistic experience that will help them grow personally and professionally, while strengthening their connections to Israel, and carving their own path to Judaism. We see ourselves as the best platform to achieve all that, in a supportive community of peers and with the guidance of professional and caring staff. Every component in WUJS Israel is designed to promote these goals.
WUJS Israel Program: The Original Post College Israel Experience - since 1968
WUJS Israel is the oldest most experienced Post College Program in Israel.
We Do Tel Aviv & Jerusalem - We offer apartment style accommodation in the two greatest cities of Israel.
We do Hebrew - Intensive Ulpan (Hebrew learning) at the beginning of the program, and twice a week throughout the program. You will be able to be fluent by the time you go back, or stay, and feel like a native Israeli.
We do Internships - Intensive Ulpan (Hebrew learning) at the beginning of the program, and twice a week throughout the program. You will be able to be fluent by the time you go back, or stay, and feel like a native Israeli.
We do Arts - With WUJS Israel you can choose between working independently on your art or learning the ins and outs of your artistic field as an intern. In both cases you build both your resume and your portfolio.
We do Volunteering - As an individual and as a group, with WUJS Israel you will have the chance to give back to Israel.
We do Travelling - Not only do you travel to Israel, WUJS Israel offers you weekly trips around the country and overnight trips throughout the program.
We do Learning - We offer seminars and classes about everything important and interesting in Judaism, Zionism and Israel.
We do Community - WUJS Israel is a group experience. It allows you to share the experience of all these amazing things with a group of people your own age from all over the world, who will probably become some of your best friends (not to mention the number of couples coming out of the program every year.)
We do Israeli Society - WUJS Israel is the only post college program that has Israelis living with participants and taking part in program activities. We also make sure that participants meet speakers from all sides and angles of Israeli Society.
